ROCHESTER, NY (SKYPE Presentation–Brain Injury Clinic, Wellness and Rehabilitation Institute, Nazareth College, Thursday, March 17, 2016). Heather Coles was the facilitator for the meeting and is the director for the group and the grad students. It was a great presentation at the college! There were over 30 people with stroke survivors, graduate SLP students, SLP clinicians and OT’s. All on St. Patrick’s Day!
There were many questions including; what was my wife like during my recovery, how long did my arm, leg and vision get better after my tPA, could I write with my dominant hand, how did motivation go? I made some mistakes (using the wrong month, September) and they heard me make mistakes! That is always good!
