DENVER, CO (Friday, 11/13/2015). I presented my poster that morning from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM. It went very well. There were many people at my poster. They all took my cards and make their way back to my booth to buy my books. They were many pictures of “fans” (people who bought my book!) taken at my poster (and theirs)!
I attended the awards reception from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM to watch my friend, Janet Whiteside’s (her work at the Aphasia House in Orlando) award as well as Annie Glenn (John Glenn’s wife) and took videos of her.
From there I walked quickly to the MGH Institute Reception at 8:30 PM and got to see some of my students as well Marjorie Nicholas, Ph.D. CCC-SLP at MGH Institute of Health Professions. Then I got a pedicab to take me to the dinner for Janet Whiteside’s award. The dinner was wonderful as was the guy with the pedicab who took me back to my car at 11:30 PM. Great day!
