This is one post of many of my summer month of speaking around the country…sorry, I couldn’t get all the posts online in real time! ALABAMA (AL) was my nineteenth (#19) new state that day!
I presented “Aphasia Recovery & Neuroplasticity” to over 40 staff, clinicians, speech language pathologists, stroke survivors and caregivers. There were many questions (including depression, motivation, practice, habit, William James, inertia and trim tabs as SLPs.) I also included some slides about CIAT II research in the presentation.
