CENTENNIAL, CO (National Stroke Association Presentation, Wednesday, July 11, 2018, 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.) I presented “Aphasia, Regaining your language from a stroke” to the entire staff at the National Stroke Association included my host, Robyn Moore, CEO.
There were plenty of questions including right-side paralysis, levels of consciousness, seeing words (or not) in the brain, stages of recovery, and levels of awareness of deficits. It was a great meeting with a number of suggestions (finding sponsors, Comeback Trail, and hospital awareness of aphasia) for us to work on together. Another great day!
