JACKSONVILLE, FL (Brooks Rehabilitation Aphasia Center (BRAC) Jacksonville, FL, 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM, Friday, January 25, 2019). I presented “Aphasia, Regaining your language from a stroke” to Jodi Morgan, Manage at the Center, plus about 30+ members of the stroke group and staff at Brooks Rehabilitation Aphasia Center in Jacksonville. It was a great group with many, many questions about recovery, tPA, TIA’s, tPA with TIA, diet, motivation, practice, enriched environment, plasticity, and the benefit of pain (or frustration) that comes from intensive physical or cognitive activities. (It was also my birthday and received a birthday cake from Jeanne and Craig Walker…thanks!)
