I presented “Aphasia: Regaining your language from a stroke” to over 50 people with great questions. One couple were “snow birds” from Michigan and attended because one had her stroke last year and was doing very well. The group was quite energized and asked if I would speak again! They loved learning more about what our language can really get better after a stroke. One person said that he has never heard such a motivational presentation like this…ever! I can’t complain…plus they gave me free food (which was very good!) The presentation was free and lunch was $3.00 to the public.
