We had a great discussion with the Aphasia Support Group (with about 15 staff, clinicians, people with aphasia, family and caregivers) and my host, Ellen Nimmons, M.C.D., CCC-SLP, Faculty Clinical Supervisor, School of Communication Science and Disorders, FSU. One member of the group is from Ghana and provided information about his country as well as some recipes plus a soup (Fufu) that he provided to all of us! It was very good!
The conversation we all had among and between us was “overwhelming” as one of the group remarked. The conversation was filmed and will be used for the group and others as well. Again, it was an amazing aphasia day!
