Emceed by Karen Feagins, Chief Operating Officer at WJCT and featuring Dr. Tom G. Brott, professor of neurology and director for research at Mayo Clinic. The President and CEO of Brooks Rehab, Doug Baer also spoke about stroke, aphasia and the five honorees for 2017. It was my second year attending and it was wonderful. Dr. Brott talked a lot about tPA. I was able to talk with him later and told him about my experience with tPA! I was able to meet all of the honorees and watch their presentations. They were amazing!
