ST AUGUSTINE, FL (Tuesday, 1/12/2016) I spoke to a large group (over 50) at the St. Anastasia Catholic Church on the beach. They had many questions and many who had stroke and aphasia in their family. One family mentioned that their grandfather had had a stroke 20 years ago. He had been brought to the local hospital and they gave him tPA for the first time in Florida! He had lost his speech and got it back within hours. He is still alive and never had a problem again from a stroke! Amazing! This was my first presentation for the year! It will be a great year!
