BOSTON, MA (Tuesday, 10/20/2015). I spoke as part of a panel at the Spaulding Rehab Hospital discussing how each of us with a stroke had recovered in our own way. There was a full house of doctors and clinicians as part of their regular medicine educational presentations. The food was a large part of it! There were 5 stroke survivors (Ed, Shawn, Mary, Grace and me) plus Jerry Kaplan (from the BU Aphasia Resource Center). We watched the “After Words” film before our panel and gave the doctor-in-charge a copy of my book.
