COLCHESTER, VT (UVM Medical Center), 12:10 PM to 1:00 PM, Tuesday, April 5, 2016 at a In-service Lunch & Learn presentation at the Board Room at the Fanny Allen Campus at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Rebecca Louko was the Rehabilitation Therapy Center Supervisor and arranged for both presentations. There were about 18 OT, PT and admin personnel plus one SLP. There were many good questions including (did I have) apraxia, rise time deficits, and my first diary entries. I talked about John Dewey and his relationship with William James and why I took pictures of Dewey’s grave at the university at the Ira Allen Chapel. I also talked about the book, Broca’s Brain and Carl Sagan, the author plus the five steps of Aphasia recovery (Motivation, practice, practice, etc.)
