BALTIMORE, MD (SCALE at the League, Snyder Center for Aphasia Life Enhancement,  Denise McCall, Stroke Clinic, Monday, November 14, 2016. 10 AM to 11 AM.)  I had spoken to SCALE by SKYPE in August 2016.

I had spoken to SCALE by SKYPE in August 2016.  They wanted for me to see the group personally again and I came to see them.  They had another meeting but one of the first group (David) came to my group.  I presented “Am I a Man or a Mouse?” Enriched Speech Therapy and gave a copy of my PPT to David.  I used the term “Enriched Speech Therapy” which bridged the gap between “regular” speech therapy and “intensive” speech therapy.  Enriched speech therapy can provide more “doing”—more engaged activities, evidence and feedback that provide the experience-dependent neural plasticity that support it. Enriched activities provide the additional therapy but without the costs.  I donated two books to SCALE (Vol 1 and Vol 2).
