I spoke to 8 people at the library last week and it was one of the best engagement I have ever had. Each person had a good reason for attending, one had a stroke and the rest knew friends or family with a stroke and aphasia. One friend from Scotland had a stroke and they were in town and wanted to know more. It was a fantastic presentation with many questions about tPA, plasticity, walking, keeping a diary, the need for evidence and socialization.
